PRIDE & ARROGANCE

Santosh Kulkarni

God never condemns. God’s word is a medicine to our lives. Look unto Jesus when we go through trials.
Isaiah 14:13: You have said in *your heart*, I will..
Asking God for wisdom for dealing with different things in our life and family.
Proverbs 6:16-18: 6 things which God hates and 7 things which are an abomination to Him.
God is opposed to the proud but gives grace to the humble.
John 3:30: He must increase but I just decrease.
Would you do something if Jesus is with you. Reaching a breaking point where I am nothing and Christ is everything. Paul says when I am weak then I am strong.
Daniel 4:30-37: *God is able to put down those who walk in pride.*
Proverbs 11:2: When pride comes, then comes shame. But with the humble is wisdom.
Arrogance is what comes out of our mouth because of the pride in our heart.

Abraham Isac
Only a broken person can be a blessing for others. Come to our sense of need to be broken and cleansed of our pride like peeling of an onion.
Luke 9:46-48: The one who is least among you is the greatest.
John 13:12-14: washing one another’s feet. Jesus became like a slave or a servant as an example. I cannot be a disciple of Jesus if I want to preserve my pride.
Philippians 2:5-7: the humility of Jesus.

Daniel
The reason of all sin is pride. Worst form of sin is the pride in us. It is not possible to become humble, only God can do it. Acknowledging our sin to become humble and not just a show of humility. Unless the grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. I have been crucified with Christ, it is no longer I who live but Christ lives in me.
