Our Thoughts and God’s plans

Jeremiah 29:11: I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. 1 Samuel 2:30: Those who honor Me, I will honor. When we give our thoughts and plans to God, then God works them for our good. Taking thoughts from focusing on ourselves to having God’s thoughts. Esther 6 is a good example of living for God’s plans versus our own.

Romans 8:28: God makes all things to work together for good to those who love God and to those who are called according to his purpose. God will not withhold that which is good for me. God wants to mold and break me to be pleasing to Him and that is why He allows suffering. Romans 8:29: Purpose is to become conformed to be like Jesus. Jesus said you shall receive power and you will be my witnesses.

Jesus always esteemed and encouraged sisters. 1 Peter 3:1-4: Our inner character can help and influence others. A wife can win her husband without a word by her chaste and respectful behavior. Let our adornment be the hidden person of the heart with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit which is precious in the sight of God. Proverbs 11:22: Focusing on the inner man rather than external beauty.
