When we are born again, the whole direction of our life is turned to not wanting to sin. Being truly born again and not just confessing with our mouth but believing in our heart. Romans 8:2: Law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. We will truly know Jesus and have a personal fellowship with Him.

Romans 5:3,4: Perseverance brings proven character. Proven character brings hope. Hope does not disappoint because it has come from proven character and perseverance. Paul said about Timothy that he had a proven character. Choosing the difficult path will bring proven character. 1 Peter 1:6,7: In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Faith should be tested and character proven.
