Isaiah 55:8-13: God’s word has gone forth will not return empty, it will accomplish what He desires. God is more interested in our spiritual well-being.
Joel 2:25-28: I will make up for the years that are lost.
Acts 2:39: For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.
Hebrews 11:17-19: By faith Abraham received the promise by faith.
Romans 4:17-21: Abraham knew his own body and Sarah’s womb was as good as dead but with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
Hebrews 10:35,36: Do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised

We are trained to be a soldier of Jesus Christ. We need to be disciplined in our spiritual life. Matthew 13:47-50; 1 Peter 5:8: Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Proverbs 9:10. Hebrews 12:11.
