Fighting the good fight of faith – Abraham Isac

Micah 7:8: Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall, I will rise. Jesus is always on our side against the devil. Psalms 34:19: Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers from them all. Hebrews 10:38,39: My righteous one shall live by faith. We are not of those who shrink back to destruction but of those who have faith. Philippians 3:13: Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead. Romans 14:22: Happy is the man who does not condemn himself by what he approves. Hebrews 12:1-3: Fixing our eyes on Jesus. Encourage one another daily. What we sow, that we will reap. Always full of confidence to meet Jesus. Matthew 25: Parable of the talents. Being faithful in our secret life. Desiring to hear the words from Jesus, “good and faithful servant”. 2 Timothy 4:7,8: I have fought the good fight, kept the faith. We need to finish our own course, not others.

Not looking at feelings but at the word of God. In the old covenant, sin was covered but in the new covenant, sin is cleansed. Living with boldness that the blood of Jesus has cleansed us.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Having the faith in God till the end.

Help me to finish well. God’s word remains forever, feelings change. 1 Peter 2:6: For in Scripture it says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame. Desire to read the word or pray.

Word of God is a mirror to our lives. Hebrews 11:1: Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Obeying because of love.

Luke 22:61: Compassionate, loving look of Christ when Peter denied Jesus. Proverbs 28:13: He who conceals his sin will not prosper but he who confesses and forsakes them will find mercy. 1 John 1:9: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
