Isaiah 61:1-4: The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners; to proclaim the favorable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified. Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations; and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations.
Isaiah 54:13: All your sons will be taught of the Lord and the well-being of your sons will be great.
Hebrews 8:11: “And they shall not teach everyone his fellow citizen, and everyone his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for all will know Me, from the least to the greatest of them.
Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord. Do not allow Satan to accuse or condemn us.
Isaiah 59:20,21: A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression in Jacob,” declares the Lord. “As for Me, this is My covenant with them,” says the Lord: “My Spirit which is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your offspring, nor from the mouth of your offspring’s offspring,” says the Lord, “from now and forever.”
Isaiah 43:18,19: Do not call to mind the former things. Behold I will do something new, now it will spring forth;
Isaiah 44:3,4: ‘For I will pour out water on the thirsty land And streams on the dry ground; I will pour out My Spirit on your offspring And My blessing on your descendants.
Isaiah 55:8-13: God’s word has gone forth will not return empty, it will accomplish what He desires. God is more interested in our spiritual well-being.
Joel 2:25-28: I will make up for the years that are lost.
Acts 2:39: For the promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to Himself.
Hebrews 11:17-19: By faith Abraham received the promise by faith.
Romans 4:17-21: Abraham knew his own body and Sarah’s womb was as good as dead but with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what God had promised, He was able also to perform.
Hebrews 10:35,36: Do not throw away your confidence which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised
We are trained to be a soldier of Jesus Christ. We need to be disciplined in our spiritual life. Matthew 13:47-50; 1 Peter 5:8: Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Proverbs 9:10. Hebrews 12:11.
God has helped me gain a lot of trust in Him last year. Coming year need an understanding of the promises of God.
Hebrews 8:10: God will give me the desire and ability to live by the word of God.
Hebews 13:17: Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Let them do this with joy and not with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
Proverbs 3:5: When we trust in the Lord, we will not lean on our own understanding. Revelation 21:8: But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Luke 8:18. For faith, we need to surrender our will also. 2 Chronicles 16:7-9: Asa did not trust in the Lord. God’s eyes are on those whose heard is completely His.
