Genesis 39:2-4: The Lord was with Joseph so he became a successful man. The Lord caused all that he did to prosper. Exodus 33:14:-16: My presence shall go with you and I will give you rest. Moses: If your presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. I and your people may be distinguished from all other people by God’s presence with us. Psalms 16:11: In your presence there is fullness of joy.
We can learn from the life of Saul. 1 Samuel 16:15: The Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul and an evil spirit from the Lord terrorized him.
Three things that led to Saul’s downfall:
1. Taking obedience to God’s word and Gods servants lightly, treating them with contempt.
2. Jealousy in his heart.
3. Crossed the boundary that God has set for him.
Psalms 51:11: Do not cast me away from your presence and do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
What God has done in my life. Mark 8:18: And do you not remember. Only in God’s presence I can live a holy life.
First sin that came into the world was disobedience and that caused Adam and Eve to lose fellowship with God. 2 Thessalonians 2:11: God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false. God has given me a friend, Jesus, to help me. Jesus said, “I will leave you nor forsake you”. Romans 8:38,39: Nothing will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ, our Lord.
Take decision on basis on faith, not on fear. You will make known to me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. Haggai 1:5: Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider your ways”. His lovingkindness is better than life. Always ask God for forgiveness every time I fall. Hiding God’s instructions in our life. Proverbs 12:28: In the way of righteousness is life, and in its pathway there is no death.
