When we suffer as Christians, some feel proud or are joyful about it. It is costly to live as a Christian.
Matthew 5:11,12: Rejoice and be glad when people insult you and persecute you, for your reward in heaven is great.
Philippians 1:29,30: Not only believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake.
Acts 5:41: Considered worthy to suffer shame for Jesus name.
1 Peter 2:20-22: What credit is there if when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. Since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps who committed no sin nor was any deceit found in his mouth.
1 Peter 3:17: Suffer for doing something right than for doing wrong.
1 Peter 4:12-17: If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

God wants us to acknowledge our failures. Jesus said he who is faithful in a little thing is also faithful in much. 1 Peter 4:1,2: Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

What will be the testimony we will be giving when we meet Jesus, will it make us ashamed or we will be bold? Hebrews 11:2: We have a cloud of witnesses whom we can look at. Need to do something to repay what Jesus did for me.

I need to pay a cost for what Jesus did for me. 2 Tim 3:16,17: The scripture is inspired by God so that the man God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. I was encouraged by the things written in the book, ‘Through the Bible’.

We are all work in progress. One unbeliever in the office showed me my fault. Need God’s grace to stand for Him.

Being faithful at home, use of time, and work. Need to have a desire to be changed to be diligent, only then God will work.

When we face troubles, we need to still believe in the word of God. 1 Peter 4:14: When we suffer for Christ, the Spirit of Christ dwells in us. To look at Jesus’ suffering when we go through trials.
