⁃ Gen 3:11-13: Blaming others – And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me from the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
⁃ 1 Samuel 25:24, 28: Abigail takes blame of her husband’s mistakes – She fell at his feet and said, “On me alone, my lord, be the blame. And please let your maidservant speak to you, and listen to the words of your maidservant.
⁃ Gen 44:32-33: Judah stands for his brother Benjamin – For your servant became surety for the lad to my father, saying, ‘If I do not bring him back to you, then let me bear the blame before my father forever.’  Now, therefore, please let your servant remain instead of the lad a slave to my lord, and let the lad go up with his brothers.
⁃ Daniel 9:5,8: We have sinned, committed iniquity, acted wickedly and rebelled, even turning aside from Your commandments and ordinances. Open shame belongs to us, O Lord, to our kings, our princes and our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
⁃ Daniel 9:23: At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed; so give heed to the message and gain understanding of the vision.
⁃ 2 Cor 5:21: Jesus became sin for us – He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
