Mathew 25:1-10. Parable of the 10 virgins.
Be prepared at all times for the Lord’s coming. His coming will be at the blink of an eye.
Never be lukewarm but be on fire for Jesus.
Let endurance have its perfect result. Having patience always.
Be still and know I am God. Because of impatience, I have murmuring.
Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? and yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
We love ourselves more than our Father in heaven. That’s we don’t trust Him.
Self esteem vs Christ esteem. Base our value and worth from Jesus-that’s Christ esteem. Not self esteem.
Knowing the awfulness of hell. Jesus took the punishment of hell for us.
Matthew 8:12; Taking even a small sin seriously. Saving others from hell fire.
Knowing that God cares.
Matthew 6:25:34. Do not worry about tomorrow.
Why should I worry when I have a Heavenly Father. Grateful for being in this church.
Having a revelation of the word of God during our dark times. Value those days in our life. Doing the will of God in our lives is the most important.
John 17:4. Value the days when Christ reveals things about us.
Grateful to the church and its members
Love your enemies. We have enemies so as to fulfil this verse
Genesis 50. Story of Joseph. God never left him till the end. Thank God for the enemies, they are fulfilling Gods promises.
We allow the wrath of God to come upon us when we disobey him. Remove abusive speech out of our mouth. Do not tell lies. Teaching our children not to tell lies right from when they are small.
Every Sunday is for everyone.
Matthew 25:5. Always stay awake in our spirits.
Psalms 121:4. Our God watches over us and never sleeps.
1 Thessalonians 5:5,6. Never allow our spirits to sleep but being alert always.
Speak about the things that God has done in our lives. Become like little children, be grateful. Do not quench the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 25:5. The bridegroom delayed his coming.
Encouraging each member of the body so all are strong in Christ, not in ourselves.
